SERVING THE SOUTHEASTERN U.S. SINCE 1952 Welcome to Brownlee-Morrow Co. Our family owned business was founded in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1952 by Lawrence Brownlee, PE and Gordon Morrow, Sr., PE. Brownlee-Morrow was created to deliver engineered air pollution control solutions to local iron and steel foundries. This developed into representative agreements for a variety of industrial air handling equipment manufacturers. Soon after, our success allowed for the business to spread into other industries across the state of Alabama. In the early 1960s, pumping equipment was added to our product portfolio as a complement to our growing plant ventilation and pollution control business. Sales offices in Mobile, Decatur and Dothan were added in the late 1960s to the mid 1970s. In-house fabrication and repair capabilities were added during the 1980s. Today, we are in the third generation of Morrow family leadership. Birmingham is still our corporate home and houses all service and support staff, as well as our primary warehouse. Mobile is a full-service satellite office with sales and repair capabilities and dedicated inventory for our Gulf Coast clients. We have regional sales offices in Decatur, Alabama, and Nashville, Tennessee. Our success over the past decades is a direct reflection of the many successful projects completed throughout our vast customer base.
