Swift Electrical Supply

On August 22, 1995, our main building in Union City was completely destroyed by fire. Our Nanuet, New York, facility was converted to serve as our hub of operations. Union City was converted to a branch location with Anthony DePeri as its Branch Manager. In December 2000, the Union City branch was moved to West New York, New Jersey. Then in June of 2001, Swift Electrical Supply opened a branch in White Plains, New York, and Pat O’Brien became the Branch Manager. In March 2003, Swift purchased the assets of a competitor based in Teterboro, New Jersey. Swift Electrical Supply moved its headquarters to Teterboro. West New York’s branch closed, moving its inventory and employees to the headquarters—the operation folded into the main operations. Since the company’s inception, we have grown both our customer base and our service offerings. Originally only contractor oriented, Swift Electrical Supply now sells to a diverse group of customers, including electrical contractors, architects, builders, commercial property managers, local municipalities, counties, cities, townships, etc. The area we cover includes New Jersey, New York and southern Connecticut.
