We were founded by Dick and Susan Tarwater when they purchased an old North Topeka filling station and sold feed out of the back. That funded the growth needed to purchase additional property and investments in new buildings. Over the years, there has been continuous growth. Customers appreciated the care our family took at every step. In 1997, Richard Jr. took the reins and continued to expand offerings and take on new assets—building and solidifying our brand. Today, we are a third-generation, family business that is dedicated to the people we call our neighbors.
