Inc. was started in 1974 by Jay Plank with six employees. The primary purpose was to repair and paint semi-trailers. Anything that a trailer may need for repairs could be performed in the shop. A few years later, we added new trailer sales. Over the past half-century Trans Equipment has expanded every aspect of our business and proudly serves as an industry leader in our market. Today, Trans Equipment continues to serve our valued customers with quality trailer repairs, painting, refurbishing, parts and equipment as we did 50 years ago.
