Since our inception in 1962, Dees Paper has been family owned and operated

by three generations of Dees. We proudly display our name within our title

and work hard to make sure it represents excellence throughout the industry.

We also work hard to maintain a dedicated workforce by treating our staff as

a part of our family. They are an intricate and valued part of our legacy and

carry themselves with the same values instilled in our humble beginnings.

Family Owned

In May of 2014, our founder and beloved patriarch A. Lamont Dees

passed away. Lamont proudly operated Dees Paper for 52 years.

We are proud to say, he was able to be a part of his family gaining

responsibility and watching each member perform to his satisfaction—

carrying on what he had started.

Mr. Dees was the youngest ever certified

instructor of The Dale Carnegie Course as well

as the past president of the Southern Paper

Trade Association, the UnitedWay of Mobile,

and the Isle Dauphine Country Club.

His legacy continues through each interaction

with our valued customers, his family and the

workforce he helped establish. Mr. Dees will
