EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTORS OF Northside Brand was born in 1992 as a concept to give an identity to M & V Provisions. The name Northside was established because M & V Provisions was located on North 6th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn—thus Northside seemed logical. The logo was designed to represent our farm-to-table freshness and wholesomeness. Originally, the logo was five colors (blue sky for instance) but we quickly simplified it to the present day version. It is important to note that we have not changed the logo since then. We are consistent in our belief that any product that bears our logo must represent a very high-quality standard, and offer our customers a truly competitive edge in price. We continue to evaluate products to be placed under our label, and we feel that our brand is so recognized in the foodservice community that we clearly stand apart from our competitors. Vendors simply want to partner with M & V Provisions, and our customers benefit from that relationship.
