Foodservice is a fast-paced, ever-changing industry that

demands precision and skill, along with innovation and

artistry. Everyone in the industry, from restaurateurs, caterers

and chefs to line cooks, servers and cleaners, relies on the

quality food and food-related products they use every day to

provide the best menus, meals and service for their customers.

Performance Foodservice began in the business as Linganore

Egg Producers in 1964, and with requests from customers for

special produce, George Gorsuch brought it to broad line food

service distribution as Carroll County Foods. In 2000, the

business merged and became part of Performance Food

Group. Today Performance Food Group has many companies

in our family, including Vistar, servicing vending; Roma,

servicing the Italian segment; Broadline, servicing chain and

independent street operators; and Customized, servicing

accounts such as Outback, Cracker Barrel, etc. The business is

ever changing and we strive to change with it; at the same

time, we remain as we began in 1964: customer focused.
