Ed Seagroatt, Founder

Since the turn of the last century, the Seagroatt family has been

keeping promises and gaining trust by delivering on our promises

and providing the world’s finest flowers and floral products.

Henry J. Seagroatt began the legacy by establishing a rose-growing

business in upstate New York. From the start, he built his business on

a belief in excellence—excellent people and excellent products.

Grandson Ed Seagroatt embraced that legacy. In 1988, Ed founded

Seagroatt Riccardi, Ltd. He developed the sophisticated technologies

and advanced business practices necessary to keep promises into

the 21st century.

Today, our tradition of excellence continues, led by our President,

Shawn Seagroatt. Our rich history is engrained in the relationships

we have maintained throughout the Northeast, continuing a legacy

of innovation that extends through 85 years and four generations of

the Seagroatt family.

We are strategically located within minutes of Albany International

Airport and adjacent to the UPS northeast distribution center—

taking full advantage of air and ground shipments. We also maintain

a bonded fleet of delivery vehicles and personnel who are delivering

day and night. Many customers entrust us with a key for after-hours

entry and their floral orders are waiting for them at the start of the

business day.
