Tomi Padgett, a Colorado Springs Broker—who has worked with us since we came to the Springs—

is one of those rare real estate professionals who remains involved with her clients to completion

and beyond. Her participation is a large part of our success with her clients.

Karen Anthony came to us through The Padgett Group, and she wanted a very unique home. She

was purchasing a lot from us on the very edge of the mesa that overlooks the Garden of the Gods

Park with its amazing panoramic view of Pike’s Peak, Manitou Springs and Cheyenne Mountain. The

first day we stood on the lot, Karen pointed at the Kissing Camels rock formation and told me that

she wanted to stand by her kitchen island and have that view to enjoy.

a Garden of the Gods story

We did considerably better

than that. With the help of

a good compass and some

careful planning, we created

angles in the floor plan that

followed the various view

angles of the many unique

features of the Garden and

the overall view. Providing

those angles to Paul Adams,

her architect, meant that

he then had the right

information needed to frame

many of the viewpoints

with windows to create

photo-like compositions of

her views. The light on that

vista is never the same, and

you simply cannot tire of

watching it change.
