SAVING YOU MONEY

Blowdown Reduction:

Avoid wasting energy and boiler chemicals

to a floor drain by evaluating blowdown

effectiveness and requirements.

Blowdown Heat Recovery:

Simple water-to-water heat exchanger

and control systems to recover energy

losses from boiler blowdown.

Condensate Return:

Returning condensate to the steam

boilers as hot as possible not only

saves energy, but also reduces chemical

Condensing Boilers:

Replacing inefficient hydronic boilers with

high turndown, condensing boilers is an

easy retrofit that allows higher setback

schedules, better system control, smaller

boiler footprint, and more efficient

combustion.

Condensing Economizers:

Even more efficient than a conventional

feed water economizer, condensing

economizers are constructed to deal

with corrosive condensate resulting

from recovering energy at temperatures

below the dew point of combustion

gases. An added benefit is recovering

water for alternative uses.

Feedwater Economizer:

Stack heat exchanger systems which

use boiler exhaust gases to preheat the

colder make-up water.

Flash Steam Recovery:

Draining condensate from a high-pressure

system to an atmospheric vented system

results in 5-15% of flash steam losses.

Those losses can easily be avoided with

a close loop condensate return system,

which may also reduce maintenance and

operation costs.

Insulation:

un-insulated steam piping.

Efficient Hot Water Generation:
