The Systems Installations division focuses
on installing complete audiovisual
systems and upgrades in existing
buildings or during the construction of a
new facility. The experienced Westbury
team completes each installation without
interrupting the client’s current operations
or impacting the construction timeline,
fitting the system seamlessly into the
facility’s overall design.
The Show Services division concentrates
on setting up temporary systems for
clients who need to make a presentation
or event shine. Westbury provides
lighting, audio, visual and staging for
live events, all professionally installed,
tested and ready to go on time.
Guy Wallace, Westbury’s Systems
Installations Manager, says the two
divisions do integrate when necessary.
A client might initially purchase a
complete equipment installation for
a new office or facility, and then later
require assistance with an event.
“And that’s the power of our expertise,”
he says. “We have both divisions, and a lot
of times we operate autonomously, but we
can cross over to meet client needs.”
Westbury National Show Systems has
been bringing together the technology
and depth of resources necessary to
facilitate a great show.
“We are the easy button,” explains Frank
Gerstein, Westbury Vice-President. “We
service event producers as well as clients
with systems installation needs.We provide
whatever is necessary for any situation that
may arise.”
Westbury National Show Systems is one
of Canada’s largest professional audio
and audiovisual systems integrators and
full-service entertainment technology
companies. With deep resources and
vast experience, the company’s sales,
engineering and installation teams tackle
projects of any size, for any application.
Rob Sandolowich, Vice-President of Show
Services, says he is often challenged to
describe the multifaceted capabilities of
Westbury to those outside the industry.
“Sometimes I say we’re an audiovisual
company, but we’re so much more than
that,” he explains. “We can help a client
put on a big concert in an arena, or set
up a system for a speech in a church
basement. What we do varies from minute
to minute.”
The strength of Westbury National
Show Systems lies in its comprehensive
approach. Dedicated employees, in-
house capabilities, construction industry
experience, efficient customer service
and depth of resources work in concert
to complete each job. Gerstein says it all
comes down to the company’s culture.
“The culture we’ve developed over the past
40 years means that we only do the best
possible design and installation work. It
has to be done absolutely to our standards
to make sure that our clients have every
confidence that it will work properly when
it’s turned on,” Gerstein says.
The company has two divisions: Systems
Installations and Show Services. Both
utilize much of the same equipment and
technologies, but the approach to each
is unique.
