During the 60s, Pierre’s son, Pierre Larmoyeux Jr., joined the family
business. He developed and maintained a strong sales presence
as the area continued to grow as a major resort and retirement
destination. Pierre Larmoyeux Jr. thought the world of each and
every customer, always treating them with respect and dignity.
Peninsular Electric soon became known as “The Service Center”
to customers willing to place their faith in a small, family-owned
electrical distributor.
In 2003, Pierre Larmoyeux Jr. passed away, leaving the business
to his son John M. Larmoyeux—beginning the third generation
of Larmoyeux family-run business. John has met
the challenges inherent within a legacy and has
continued to run an exceptional business surviving
drastic market and economic challenges.
